Luonto is a family-owned furniture manufacturer from Western Finland that was established in 1964. Our heritage is to design high quality products at the same time ensuring that future generations will be able to enjoy a safe and clean environment.
Every piece of Luonto furniture is individually, custom built, bench-made by Scandinavian craftsmen. In comparison to mass production, the craftsmanship and hand-made approach creates minimal waste and emissions, and consumes a minimal amount of energy and water. The wood waste created throughout the process is utilized to heat the production facilities and the local community.
Luonto manufactures stationary and sleeper sofas, recliners and dining sets. They have a MTO (made to order) program with hundreds of upholstery fabrics and colors to choose from, which also includes leather. These custom orders are made in Finland and have a lead time of 16-20 weeks. They also have a domestic stock program available in their Charleston, SC warehouse where they stock a large selection of frames that are available to ship immediately.
